This Privacy Policy explains how Tabering (the “App”) handles information about its users.

The App uses the following services.
We do not provide personal information to any third parties other than those listed above.
The information we collect is stored on Supabase’s servers. When you delete your account, all related data (places you added, visit records, photos, reviews and group memberships) is deleted. Groups you created are handed over to the member who joined earliest, if there are other members (otherwise they are deleted). Visit records that other users made at places you added keep only that place’s name and location.
Photos attached to visit records are resized and stored in Supabase storage (private), and can be viewed only by you and members of the groups you shared that record with. If you don’t share a record with any group, its photos are shown only to you. When resizing, we remove additional information from photos, such as where they were taken. You can delete photos at any time from the photo screen in the App, and when you delete a record or your account, its photos are also deleted.
You can report other users’ photos from the photo screen. Reported photos are immediately hidden from other users; the operator views them for review and deletes those that violate the Terms of Use. You can also choose not to see photos from specific users.
For places without your own photos, we may show a Google Maps photo of the place along with the photographer’s name. To get these photos, we send the place’s ID (or, for places without a known ID, the place name and location) to Google.
Location information is obtained according to your device’s permission settings and is used only to show the map and to search for and suggest nearby places. For searches and suggestions, the location at the center of the map is sent to Google (Google Maps Platform). It is not sent to or stored on the App’s servers. You can restrict the use of location information in your device settings.
On the free plan, the App shows ads from Google AdMob. To deliver ads, Google may collect device identifiers and information about your network connection.
If you allow tracking when your iPhone asks, you may see ads tailored to your interests based on your activity in other apps and websites. If you don’t allow it, ads are still shown, but your device’s advertising identifier is not used. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iPhone.
In Europe (EEA, UK and Switzerland), the App shows a screen asking for your consent for advertising. You can change your consent at any time from “Change Ad Consent” on the Profile tab in the App.
No ads are shown on the Premium plan. The App does not use any analytics tools. For how information is handled in ads, please see Google’s policies.
The App is intended for ages 4 and up.
We may update this policy as needed. If there are important changes, we will let you know in the App.
